HTML5/ CSS/ JS Project
As part of my preparation for moving to UX/UI I felt it was important to learn a bit of frontend coding. I did a specialization in basic coding through the University of Michigan. The following is my capstone project for the class. In a UX perspective, I would not design everything quite like this, but I was required to add certain elements.
Wireframes
Homepage
This page was based on one the product owner had seen. It focuses on the headshot and social media tags first. In a full screen view the menu buttons are the icon tags. As an actor, the headshot is the first presentation, so putting this at the beginning was an important feature.
Resume Page
Just a simple table. I wanted something I could add to easily, as her performance list changes almost monthly. Scrolling down will bring the viewer to education and work.
News Page
This was the hardest page to code. I saw this style awhile ago and wanted to try it out. In responsive mode the news overlaps the picture.
Media
This is a page that will get updates later on. The project required plugins and some animations. The videos are a youtube plugin. The pictures are an animated carousel. Once again the headshot is featured.
The animated carousel is a neat feature in the right place, but since this will be a professional website it will be replaced later with a more formal looking gallery.
Validations
All pieces of this project had to validated. This slide shows proof of that validation.
Indeed the most time consuming part of the project.
